Valued Guests – We are excited to be redesigning our main entrance and adding a stunning new lobby with a bar and lounge that will overlook our marina. Renovation will be taking place through January 2026. Work will be completed Monday to Saturday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Our Restaurant, Spa, Pool & Sunset Pier will be operating as normal.

Inspired by our vibrant past and the evolution of our suites and signature Hot Tin Roof restaurant, the lobby design continues the narrative in a space where whimsy meets refinement. Anchoring the center of the space is a sculptural fountain, a graceful centerpiece that brings movement, serenity and a sense of timeless grandeur.
Step into a celebration of color, character and the unmistakable joie de vivre of Key West, perfectly balanced with the sophistication expected from the most luxurious resort on the island.
Custom wallcoverings featuring lush tropical flora and birds bring the outdoors in, echoing the playful charm of our guestroom details, like our hand-painted toucan armoires. Arches wrapped in mosaic pink tile frame each space with a sense of artistry and intention. From birdcage-inspired lounge chairs to richly textured fabrics and shimmering glass pendants, the design layers pattern and color with joyful exuberance. It is almost too much, and yet just right.
Sweet Bird Bar, Where Paradise Perches
Nestled just off Ocean Key Resorts lobby and overlooking the Key West harbor, Sweet Bird Bar offers more than cocktails and sea views, it invites a moment of escape. Here, tropical elegance meets soulful nostalgia. With light dancing through floor-to-ceiling windows, and vivid bird motifs gracing the interiors, this is your place to roost, reflect, and rise again.
Inspired by the dreamlike beauty of the tropics and the fleeting, fragile nature of longing in Tennessee Williams’ Sweet Bird of Youth, this new harbor-view lounge channels poetic energy through lush surroundings, suspended time, and a touch of theatrical glamour.
In Williams’ play, the Sweet Bird of Youth represents longing, beauty, and the ache of change. Ocean Key Resort’s Sweet Bird Bar reimagines that metaphor in full color—through the lens of island life, with a view that inspires.

Ocean Key Resort’s brand-new meeting space takes inspiration from the graceful bird, long celebrated in literature as a symbol of wisdom and renewal. Surrounded by Key West’s rich cultural and natural beauty, this elegant setting accommodates up to 14 guests and is designed to spark creativity, collaboration, and fresh ideas. Overlooking Old Town Key West this is the ideal venue for executive retreats, strategy sessions, and team gatherings that deserve more than just another boardroom.
